The Book Ain’t Done. On Purpose.

The story’s roots in a D&D campaign, the private backstories behind the scenes, and a standard worth working toward.

December 2025: already more than a year into the work. This entry records the ambition and process at that stage.

Real talk.

The book ain’t done. On purpose.

I don’t want “pretty good.” I want “oh my God, I couldn’t put this down” and “when is Book Two?”

’Til your reactions sound like that, I keep sharpening.

We’ve been at this over a year. I love it more now than day one. People are kind. They don’t always say “not good enough.” You learn to read between the lines. I did. Every pass gets tighter, hotter, better.

Where it started: back in my twenties, running a D&D campaign. I wanted heroes who fix what’s broken by showing it works. No sledgehammers. You let people feel it. Then they get it.

What that means now: deep characters with backstories I write and never publish, fuel you feel on the page. Each pass spawns another scene that lands harder. It grows because it needs to.

What we’re building: something original and distinct. Romantasy built for the female gaze (and yeah, the male gaze gets invited when it earns it). Consent-first heat. Big heart. Real stakes. I’m not rushing this. I’m not dropping mid. No filler. No shortcuts. Only fire.

I was raised East Coast. You don’t bluff quality.

You deliver.

If you’ve been here cheering, thank you. Your patience isn’t taken for granted. When this lands, I want it to be the book you finish in two nights and hand to a friend on the third like, read this, now.
